First generation Labradoodles known as F1 Labradoodles are a cross between a purebred Labrador and a purebred Poodle. This generation of labradoodle is not guaranteed not to shed. Although there is a chance that this generation will shed it is still considered a low shedding dog. You can get three different coat types in a litter of F1 Labradoodles: straight, curly, and wavy. The curlier the coat the less likely they are to shed.
